Response to Tewedros Teshome

Tewedros Teshome is one of Abiye's latest mouthpieces and arsenal to go public against the Tigray people. He claimed that he has Tigrian friends and has nothing to do with the Tigrians. That is very funny. His entire narration is degrading, humiliating and painting Tigrians as traitors and enemies of Ethiopia. He joined the armies of propagandists working for Abiye. First, I thought that it was not worth recognizing him. It is better to ignore and not provide him with a platform. However, when I browsed on the net, Mr Teshome's unfounded allegation became an agenda among Ethiopians, which prompted me to reconsider and respond to him in kind. Mr Teshome blamed Sahlemichael for disrupting the Solomon Dynasty and starting to divide the country into regional states. When Haile Selassie said "Moa Ambessla Them Negede Yhuda (The Lion of Judah)", he meant that he descended from Axum, which is an actual false claim. Why would Tigrians disrupt their Kingdom? It does not make sense his argument. Ethiopia got its civilization glory and greatness during the Axum kingdom. However, on the other hand, Ethiopia started going down the hill after the fall of the Axum Kingdom and power moved from Tigray to the Amharas. What this paid media person did not realize is that the Solomon dynasty first started in Axum but was disrupted a long time ago. Please make use of the good history books by independent and unbiased scholars? Tewodros, Tigrians had tried to modernize Ethiopia but failed his ambitious plan because of the sabotage of the Amhara's clergies and 'Defeteras'. Don't use the Amharas Defteras' fiction as a source. The Amhara elites and their enablers have been championing a big lie about the history of Ethiopia. They made a great effort to replace the people of Tigray struggle against the invaders with fiction. Amhara elites copied Joseph Goebbels big lie propaganda technique to distort and misrepresent true history by fiction. To some extent, they succeeded. Joseph Goebbels said, "if you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." Then, Nazi propaganda repeatedly claimed that Jews held power behind the scenes in Britain, Russia and the United States for starting World War l. It spread claims that the Jews had begun a war of extermination against Germany, and it used these claims to assert that Germany had a right to annihilate the Jews as self-defense. That is precisely what Mr Teshome, and the Amhara extremists and elites are doing right now in Ethiopia. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the state can shield the people from the lie's political, economic, and military consequences. Using Abiy's government state apparatus, the Amhara elites spread complete fiction to blackmail the people of Tigray and distort and misrepresent the true history of Tigray. Mr Teshomes' engagement in fabricating new history is not surprising as it is the continuation of the Amhara that has been waged against the great people of Tigray. The distortion and misrepresentation of history started far long time ago. This shallow-minded individual blamed Atsie Yohannes the IV for not fighting with the British army that came to get its citizens released. The British did not come to colonize Ethiopia; instead, to secure the release of their countrymen who were trapped between Ethiopia and Sudan. He tried to create a big lie and throw as much dirt as he could on the people of Tigray. Without any shame and concern for history, he claimed that the people of Tigray did not fight against the British. Of course, the people of Tigray never paid their blood and sweat to keep the power of individuals. And they will not fight to keep individuals in power. They only hold the ground firm to punish foreign invaders as they do right now to the Amhara expansionist and the Eritreans partner-in-crime. Amharas elites have been using different methods to distort Tigrians history and one of the methods is omitting historical events from history books. It is not surprising to note that Mr Teshome follows his enablers. For that matter, Mr Teshome cannot feel the shoes to narrate the history of Tigray. For example, it is too much for him to talk about the battle of Adwa. Please, Mr Teshome, pick up your size. Case in point, you can read Tsegaie Gebremedhins' work about Adwa in "Esat Way Abebe" book. He never mentions General Alula. The battle of Adwa and the role of Alual are almost synonymous. Nothing is new, just a continuation of his predecessors and associates. The battle of Adwa was planned by General Alula and his spy Bashay Awalom. General Alula destroyed three out of the four enemy generals who marched to Adwa. Please refer to the history of Ras Alula written by Mamo Wudneh and Haggai Erlich. On the other hand, Menelik the 2 nd and his closest Generals from Amhara were a refuge in the church during the war of Adwa. Mr Teshome, without any regard to history, called Tigrians traitors and Italian spies during the five years' war. The truth could not be farther enough from his assertion. Minilik signed the Wichale treaty, handed Eritrea to Italy and gave Djibouti as a dowry to France for 99 years. All historical events depicted Minilik as a sellout person. Like his predecessor, Haileselassie never stood the ground against the country's enemy; instead, he ran away, abandoning his country. Contrary to the king, the people of Tigray held ground for five years without meaningful help from the rest of the country. Tigrians fought the Italians all over the country wherever and whenever an enemy tried to invade Ethiopia. During the battle of Lemalimo in Gondar, the people and Crown prince Asfawessen asked for help from the Tigray people to take the challenge as usual, the gallant people of Tigray accepted the call of its countrymen and flocked to the front under the leadership of DeJazmach Gebrehiwot Meshesha as the commander of the battle. After the arrival at the war sight (Lemalimo front), DeJazmach Gebrehiwot carefully studied the strength and weaknesses of his enemy. He led his army and fought bravely as usual and won the war handsomely. Then he marched to gonder, invited by the people and the crown Prince. He Knew Gonder was surrounded by ground mines and expenses. After a deep breath, he came with a clear solution on how to destroy those explosives. He asked the zone people to bring several animals, such as donkeys. He made the animals walk on the landmine explosives and quickly cleared the explosives. Then, DeJazmach Gebrehiwot started the fight against the Italian invaders and finally pushed the Italian enemy out of Gondar to Sudan. DeJazmach Gebrehiwot Meshesha was a Great War strategist who led and fought against the Italian invaders. For his unparalleled heroism, several poems were written, and songs were sung. Most of the lyrics and songs used the metaphor' LION[I]' of the front for DeJazmach Gebrehiwot and 'TIGER' for his troops.
