Why does Tigray need
United Nation Human Right Commission Investigation in the first Place?

When I was an immature younger man, I used to consider UN as the most powerful, and the richest human organization that is charged as overseer of all human security and welfare. I know most Ethiopians think like that too. Getting employment by UN and its branches was considered by Ethiopians as going to heaven. Reason, they drive the latest snazzy cars and get paid a huge sum of money. I knew little UN was actually a very poor organization with no stable income. Little did I know UN’s main income comes not from war, genocide, crisis prevention, but from crisis, war, genocide management. Crisis is a source of income for UN. Reading Malcom X biography, a UN veteran, a man who worked for UN for 25 years opened my eyes about UN when he confessed the most regrettable thing in his life was working for UN. In this piece, I am not really interested to waste my time talking about tooth lessness, and deep corruption of UN, but I just wanted to explain there is no need even for United Nation Human Right Commission to be in Tigrai, leave alone to insults Tigreans by doing broad-day open corruption on the people of Tigray in the name of fake UNHRC investigation. The people of Tigray have already enough atrocity committed on them; they do not need more.
UNHRC’s fake investigation in Tigray defies logic, moral, norm, law, ethic, code of conduct, human right, divine right, natural right, democratic right of Tigrean. What UNHRC is trying to do on Tigreans is adding insult on injury. I am puzzled why they think we are all stupid’s who have no clue about our God given rights and they consider us as a group of fools.
What we know from the traditional culture of Tigray which we call Baito law is that if two more parties have issues, both parties get represented to resolve the issue between two or more parties. Assuming the issue between two or more parties is ordinary issue to be resolved. All the parties involved on the issue has to be represented equally and form an investigation commission based based on Baito law. The investigation commission must be neutral to find the truth. It is unheard in human history the aggressor becomes an investigator of himself on himself. This is absurd, weird never heard or seen. In Tigray, even marriage involves having an equal permanent representative body. The husband and wife have permanent representative from the day of marriage throughout their lives. It sounds to me Tigreeans know more about human right, ethic, code of conduct, justice than UNHRC. They are trying to operate outside human norm in contrary to general truth of truth and justice. There is a verse in the Bible that says corruption blinds even the eyes of wise men; deafens the ears of the wise men; twists the minds of just men; corruption perverts justice. UNHRC is definitely perverting justice.
We appealed to UNHRC at the beginning that from the get to go what they were proposing that they will investigate Tigray genocide with Abiy’s EHRC was morally, legally, ethical, truly wrong. But they paid deaf ears and they went on with their mission of perversion and now to add more absurdness they are telling us on broad day light they could not investigate or reach Axum city for some magically, extra-terrestrial reasons. UNHRC itself is abusing, violating, infringing, breaching the God given right of about 11 million Tigreans. And UNHRC itself must be investigated for lack of dignity, integrity, accountability, ethic, moral.
We know UNHRC was under Saudi control until recently and we also know who is leading it. There is an English saying that goes as “the stench of an Ostrich’s egg is from its mother.” There is also a good Amharic saying in Ethiopia which goes as “the stench of a fish is from its head.” May I say more?
By the way, why does Tigray need UNHRC investigation? If it is known that Mr X bombed, killed, burnt, raped, looted Mr. Y, Mr. Y’s households and properties on broad day light, is not visible to the naked eyes that X is the killer, bomber, rapist, looter? Why do we need mr Z (UN) and mr X Investigate Mr. Y? This is pure and 100 % never seen, never kind of perversion of justice. This is the criminal investigating the victim which is illogical and irrational. Albert Einstein said, “two things are infinite: human stupidity and the universe, but not sure about the universe.”
