Congratulations and happy 45 ^th anniversary to the TPLF and the valiant fraternal people of TIGRAI! As an Eritrean admirer and witness to the heroic struggle and sacrifice of TEGADELTI TIGRAI and its people, I feel honored and privileged to say እንቋዕ ሓጎሰኩም ሓጎሰና! ኣጆኹም ኣጆና  ክንዕወት ኢና!!

This 45 ^th anniversary is being celebrated or commemorated in one of the most difficult and even confusing time or era not only for the people of TIGRAI and its vanguard front, but it also similarly critical and alarming time for the brotherly people of Eritrea too. Defeated forces of reaction and anarchy are howling like a diseased wolf everywhere. Blood thirsty chauvinist and racist gangs are roaming and creating mayhem and carnage all over Ethiopia with the possible exception of TIGRAI state. Evil and hateful groups, parties and political leaders in Ethiopia and Eritrea are uniting and conspirng almost daily todismantle the legacy and astounding history of the EPRDFand as a final goal, to conquer and enslave the people of TIGRAI and Eritrea. Totally defeated (but not crushed) clusters of grudge and animosity are scheming and working to create havoc and dilapidation in the Ethiopian hinterland .As the whole world knows, the past 25 years under the brilliant leadership of MELES/EPRDF and it’s patriotic cadres, was a time of remarkable growth and prosperity and above all it was a time of great peace and tranquility, a rarely seen classical feat in the otherwise turbulent history of Ethiopia and Ethiopians . Who, in his normal state of mind can deny the past 25 or so yeas of advancement, boom, expansion, and creation of wealth to millions, serenity, massive projects and industries everywhere, justice normalcy? …. even laughter is becoming a rarity under the leadership of mister ተላላኪ! (One of my friends in Addis was telling me a while ago that now days few Ethiopians are laughing and smiling like before …… and people are in a gloomy and dejected state of mind).

So the TPLF and the people of TIGRAI are celebrating the 45 ^th anniversary of ለካቲት: in this alarming and critical time of their existence and history! It can be a time for renewal and opportunity ( blessing in disguise ) or it can lead GOD forbid, to a disastrous conclusion with its repercussions far and beyond! I am sure and confident that the wise and disciplined people of TIGRAI and their vanguard military and political front are up to this demanding historic test! In Eritrea too, a regime of barbarity and bizarre political insanity is working in tandem with its bankrupt and demonic stooges in Ethiopia to crush the TPLF and the people of TIGRAI. As to the situation in Eritrea and the ever deteriorating political and social condition, I am not going to detail at this time. More on that in another article.
