A letter with no destination: The "before and after" for learning and action.
Gebru Boj'Boj. November 3, 2020. - Please join me on a ride back in time where I met and lived with superhumans. This very writing may make you feel down. It is kind of tough and torturous. It is a linear and earthly truth though and everything I will say under this article is based on a true story down to every sentence. Yes, there are times I can not tell anyone, except the people who are not here anymore, and it is for this reason that I kept this memoir with me for many years saved, unopened and unread. However, this time I have decided to tell as it is.

Ethiopia : Statement by the High Representative/Vice-President Josep Borrell on the latest developments
Developments in Ethiopia are a cause of deep concern. All parties as well as Ethiopia's neighbours must act to reduce tension, eliminate inflammatory language and abstain from provocative military deployments. Failure to do so risks destabilising the country as well as the wider region.
Building a national consensus through an inclusive national dialogue, comprising all the relevant political actors, is now more important than ever.
WOLLEGA ZONE: MASSACRE OF CIVILIANS -EHRC
(ADDIS ABABA) - The Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) unequivocally condemns the massacre of civilians in Oromia Region's Wollega Zone. The attacks were committed on November 1, 2020, by a group of armed and unarmed assailants that numbered up to 60 in the zone's Gawa-Kanka, Gilla-Gogola, and Seka-Jerbi kebeles, and followed the withdrawal of federal soldiers from the areas around noon the same day, according to sources who spoke with EHRC.
Tigrai Govt Letter to the International Community
President Debretsion Gebremichael (PhD) has written a letter to more than 70 leaders of countries and heads of regional and international organizations. He reminded the international community that it has been silent to the plight of Ethiopians. He also said the international community will share all the responsibility for what will happen to the country, and the region
Tigrai is more than ready to defend against aggression by Abiy and Isaias Afeworki armies. Never doubt that! It is unfortunate the International community especially the USA is failing to play its role in avoiding the catastrophe. We are grateful the European Union is trying to defuse the issue. We also hope the European Union will continue the discussion beyond a zoom meeting in the coming weeks. Let it be known, the war will not be fought in Tigrai. It will be fought everywhere! A Flying Pig Dropped Midair The Saplings Brought From Abroad...እምቦጭ!!
Yared Huluf 11-01-20 - Whoever has read the book, Animal Farm by George Orwell, it was not only the Dogs, the Sheep, the Pigs but also the Horses, the Cats, the Raven, the Hens. Fate had it but live together in the Farm Kingdom. Of all the horse, Boxer, had a disability, he could not help, and he was roundly used and exploited by the clever elks in the Farm.
Ethiopia is in a rigidity-induced suicidal mood
Yohannes Aberra, PhD 10-31-20 - The last few weeks in Ethiopia have seen perplexing developments in the political sphere where the Country is speeding towards its own doom as if it is in a bus that got its brakes malfunctioning or its gear shifter stuck. What is happening to the Country is also perfectly analogous to a man angered by something, that could be easily resolved with patience and consultation, climbs to the roof of a 40-story building and tries to jump down to the street below grinding his bones into pebbles.
The above is what Getachew Reda, TPLF Executive Leader, said on his Facebook trolling an Eritrean official. If you recall Isaias Afeworki told the world the "game was over" when he decided to join Abiy a few years back. Isaias thought TPLF was done and that his long dream of destabilizing Ethiopia would be easy now that TPLF is gone. As if we all have short memories, Isaias Lieutenant is yet again trying to tell the world the Game is over again. Before you ask, what transpired all of this, we will tell you, today, Abiy and Isaias are digging their graves. The Ethiopian defense force is crumbling, Eritrea's weakened army is deserting in hundreds to Tigrai, and TPLF is more than ever strengthen. TPLF has decided to use all options to finish the job. The 11th hour is around the corner you all!

Abiy Ahmed's empty promises of reforms, misinformation, misleading claims, and white lies are fracturing Ethiopia.
Teum Mezgebo 28 October 2020 - Abiy Ahmed not only has failed to live up to his early promises and Medemer philosophy, he has unleashed a wave of repression, margination of ethnic groups by locking up his political opponents and those he once freed. He is advancing a dangerous form of nationalism that is against the Ethiopian Constitution and the wishes of the many peace-loving Ethiopians.

A government above the law
W.Yilma October, 28/2020 - In Ethiopia it becomes a daily routine for many to see mass deaths, arbitrary arrests, illegal evictions, and inflicting psychological trauma to innocent people, due to the widespread injustice and deliberate criminal acts of the government in power. We Ethiopians as a people show tolerance to all of these kinds of wrong doings even though we know it is morally, religiously and legally crime against humanity.

Vision Ethiopia press release on National Movement of Amhara (NaMA)
Vision Ethiopia, a non-partisan association of Ethiopian scholars and professionals, is profoundly distressed and disenchanted by the disturbing news that the peaceful demonstrations called by the National Movement of Amhara (NaMA) for Wednesday and Friday, October 28 and 30, 2020 are blatantly prohibited by the Federal Government of Ethiopia and the Amhara Regional Administration.
We never understood why our Amhara elite brothers and sisters were supporting the Abiy group when it was clear to many of us that the group was destroying the country. We grew up among these elites, and we always thought they were Ethiopian nationalists at heart. But the coming of Abiy and the way these elites undermined the Hedase Dam over the years have opened our eyes. Hoping against hope the recent murmur(s) by the very same elites are for real, we are kind of hopeful the light may be blinking at the end of the dark tunnel. Qetelubet!! Call a Spade a Spade, and Ethiopia will have a chance to be saved!

Behere Tigray: The Citadel of Divine Law, Fortress of the Spiritual Laws of the Universe, Temple of Knowledge, Shrine of Wisdom & the Bedrock of the Boomerang Principle
Hailemariam Abebe 10-27-20 - I believe I was in the fifth or the sixth grade in Axum's Abraha Atsbaha Elementary School when the Mother of all Shocker took place. The policeman's name was Tsegay, and to this day, I remember all about him. He was the friendliest and a very good football player! I remember him too, just like it was yesterday, both when he was in uniform on duty and in civilian cloth heading to or coming from the church.
Haste Makes Waste! Privatization of Ethio Telecom
Hagos Berhe 10-27-20 - In December 2019, the then Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed launched a "homegrown" economic reform roadmap to further the ambitious initiative of making Ethiopia a middle-income country by 2025 and an "African Icon of Prosperity" by 2030. The "homegrown" design of the program is a shrewd move by the administration to disentangle itself from ideological attachments.
