Ethiopia sets out terms of possible talks with Tigray Government
Ethiopia on Thursday outlined conditions for possible talks with rebels from the country's war-hit Tigray region, following days of frantic diplomatic efforts by international envoys to head off another surge in fighting...Tigray Army, which has pushed south in recent months and has not ruled out a possible march on the capital Addis Ababa. Foreign ministry spokesman Dina Mufti told reporters that one of the conditions for possible talks would be for the TPLF to withdraw from the Amhara and Afar regions bordering Tigray.
Of all (hodam) people that infuriate us for trusting and standing on their side for the last 27 years thinking they are decent human beings are those that served under the EPRDF regime and yet, are serving for Abiy and Isaias regimes today. Taye and Dina shame, shame...Afernbachuh! Akh Entuf!!

Response to Amnesty International's Report on Sexual Violence in Amhara Region
(Tigray Govt 11-10-21) - On November 10, 2021, Amnesty International (AI) issued a report on sexual violence allegedly committed by Tigrayan forces in the Amhara region. While we acknowledge what AI has over the past one year done to expose human rights abuse in Tigray and other parts of Ethiopia, its latest report is, however, based on a disturbingly flawed methodology, based as it is on a remote video-calling application as well as self-serving testimonies from regional and federal officials. Given this serious procedural error, it would be easy to dismiss the contents of the report. But since we take such accusations against our forces seriously, we feel compelled to address it head on.

An Update on Our Longstanding Work to Protect People in Ethiopia
Recent events have focused the world's attention on the conflict in Ethiopia. Our thoughts are with the people of Ethiopia, both in the country and in the diaspora, during this difficult time. But while the international attention that these events are getting may be new, our work to prevent our platform from being abused in Ethiopia is not.
In Tigirgna there is a saying "ziaklen Tihinen BealeMariam" It means the damage has been already done. May be it is better late than never, but Facebook(Meta) being the main platform most Ethiopians use, was used to destroy the country and torn the social fabric. Ethiopia is torn apart beyond repair no matter what Facebook(Meta) does now.

Getachew Reda, a spokesman for the TPLF described the talks as fruitful but told the BBC its forces would keep advancing towards the capital Addis Ababa unless the government lifted its blockade of the Tigray region.

Why Latter-day Saints missionaries and the U.S. embassy are evacuating Ethiopia
Four days after the government declared a state of emergency, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has temporarily moved 60 of its missionaries out of the country. The moves were motivated by the Ethiopia's civil unrest, Penrod said. War has torn the northern part of the country since November 2020, when the government allowed soldiers from Eritrea to enter Ethiopia and join Ethiopian military attacks on rebel forces in the Tigray region
Although, we do not think foreigners should be afraid of the changes coming, it is good they know about the resentment many people have on some of the evangelical missionaries and their followers in Ethiopia. The other day, we received an email note stating while Addis streets and businesses were deserted, some of the evangelical gathering places were full of people and full of excitement. Apparently, these people are untouchables and can do whatever they want because they are supporters of Abiy according to the email note!

CAMEROON - The U.N. The U.N.'s most powerful body expressed serious concern about the impact of the conflict on "the stability of the country and the wider region,"
The UN is the worst international body when it comes to managing conflict resolution. It is only good for delivering wheat and edible oil, yet, it is failing to do that when it comes to Tigray. Shameful. Listening to the Tigrigna music now: Aysemen eye !!

November 4, 2020: The beginning of the end of Tigray's business as usual with Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Kalayu Abrha 11-03-21 - For everybody else November 4,2020 passed as any of the thousands and millions of days; but for Tigray that day will live in infamy for as long as human history goes. Even though Tigray's right to peaceful self-governing existence was transgressed several times before throughout the century nothing compares to what started on November 4 and continued unabated for an entire year now. The world has seen similar historic events on November 4 most notably the 1956 Hungarian protests...
